Back To List
Summary:
This absolutely amazing safari takes you through 2 of Zambia?s must visit river paradises: The South Luangwa and Lower Zambezi National Parks.
South Luangwa is Zambia?s ultimate safari destination. It is popular the world over for its immense wildlife populations and enjoys a prolific birdlife. With about 60 species of animals on its count and over 400 varieties of birds listed, South Luangwa is colourful and full of life all year round. Relative to its size, the density of wildlife presented is unmatched, bringing the park to ranks when top-of-the-list safari destinations are mentioned.
Lower Zambezi is another of Zambia?s fine safari encounters. This wilderness area sits south east of the country, on the northern banks of the Zambezi River. Stretching 2 km wide in some places, the Zambezi is 2700 km long and here it meanders through the park, attracting much wildlife to the islands formed. This creates superb canoeing and game viewing opportunities.
