This safari is also suitable for single travelers: the Shaba Game Reserve is a truly unique destination with its healthy share of game, while the lodge itself offers plenty to do.

Day 1 – Saturday 13th February 2010:
Depart Nairobi for Shaba at seven in the morning. Upon arrival in the park, you will enjoy a game drive enroute to the lodge. Check in i s followed by an international buffet lunch at the restaurant.

Your afternoon is free to enjoy the amenities of the lodge which include a swimming pool , and in the evening, you will go on a game drive . The starkly beautiful landscape of the reserve is dominated by Shaba hill to the south, at the foot of which is a rugged area with steep ravines, whose sandy soils are volcanic. This part of Kenya is known for the unique five animal species:; the reticulated giraffe, the Beisa Oryx, the long necked Gerenuk,the blue shanked Somali Ostrich and the grevy Zebra.


In the evening, a candlelit bush dinner with entertainment will be served

Day 2 – Sunday 14th February 2010
After an early morning game drive ,return to the lodge for breakfast at the riverside then spend the better part of the morning at leisure. Check out by 12pm and enjoy a game drive on your way out of the park
You will stop for lunch (at own cost) at the famous “Trout tree Restaurant” in Nanyuki where you fish your own lunch. At 3pm embark on the journey back to Nairobi to arrive before dusk.
