Itinerary:
Day 1:
Upon arrival in Bole International Airport - Addis Ababa, you will be transferred to your hotel for overnight stay. The city which lies at the foot of mount Entoto boasts of a rich culture, having been founded in 1886 by Emperor Menelik II. Addis Ababa is a metropolitan city with some 2.7 million inhabitants of different backgrounds - as many as 80 nationalities speaking 80 languages and religious communities including Christian, Muslim, and Jewish can be found here. Day 2:
Drive to Awash National Park which is 230 kilometers from Addis, at the southern tip of the Afar Region. The park, whose southern boundary is along the Awash River, is mainly made up of acacia woodland and grassland, while The Addis Ababa - Dire Dawa highway passes through this park. The East African Oryx, Soemmerring’s Gazelle, Dik-dik, and the lesser and greater Kudus can be found here, as well as over 350 bird species.

Day 4:

Your day is spent in Bale Mountains National Park - a 2400 sq. km park found 400 km south of Addis Ababa.

Bird watching in Bale: where at least 14 of Ethiopia’s endemic birds have been recorded. These include Yellow-fronted parrot, Abyssinian catbird, Banded barbet and Abyssinian woodpecker in the forested region while the moorlands are home to Blue-winged goose, Spotbreasted lapwing and Rouget’s rail. Drive to Awassa, a city in Ethiopia,270 km south of Addis Ababa. The city is on the shores of Lake Awasa in the Great Rift Valley, in the Sidama Zone. Go to Yabello.Yabello Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected area and wildlife sanctuary in southern Ethiopia, known as a habitat of birds and Swayne’s Hartebeest. The town is also called Obda, located northwest of Moyale in the Guji Zone of the Oromia Region and is the administrative town of the Guji Zone

Day 10:
Drive from Yabelo to Wondo Genet - Located southeast of Shashemene in the Sidama Zone of the Southern Nations. Wondo Genet is known for its hot springs and is home to an arboretum and a College of Forestry, as well as the Essential Oils Research Sub Center. Your day is spent enjoying the natural hot springs at Wondo Genet. Overnight Wabi Shebele Hotel
Day 11:
On this day, you will return to Addis Ababa. Overnight Ghion or Desalegn hotel

Transfer to the International airport for departure flight
