Itinerary: Day 1:
Upon arrival in Bole International Airport - Addis Ababa, you will be transferred to your hotel for overnight stay. The city which lies at the foot of mount Entoto boasts of a rich culture, having been founded in 1886 by Emperor Menelik II. Addis Ababa is a metropolitan city with some 2.7 million inhabitants of different backgrounds - as many as 80 nationalities speaking 80 languages and religious communities including Christian, Muslim, and Jewish can be found here. Overnight Ghion or Desaleng Hotel.

Day 2:
Drive from Addis to Awash - a market town in central Ethiopia named after the Awash River. Awash lies outside the Awash National Park. Besides its widlife, the park is known for the Mount Fentale caldera and the Filwoha Hot Springs. Wildlife in the Awash National parks includes the East African Oryx, Soemmerring’s Gazelle, Dik-dik, and the lesser and greater Kudus, as well as over 350 species of native birds.
Overnight Genet or Meridian Hotel

Day 3:
Drive from Awash to Harar - whose old town is home to 110 mosques and many more shrines, centered on Feres Magala square. Medhane Alem Cathedral, the house of Ras Mekonnen, the house of Arthur Rimbaud, and the sixteenth century Jami Mosque are the notable buildings. A tradition of feeding meat to hyenas developed in the 1960s has now turned into an impressive night show for tourists. Overnight at Belayneh or Ras Hotel.

Day 4:
A full day sampling the attractions of Harar with overnight stay at Belayneh or Ras Hotel.

Day 5:
This day, return to Addis Ababa by road for overnight stay at Ghion or Desaleng Hotel.

Day 6:
Depart Addis Ababa
