Tour Summary:
This special offer combines stay at Kenya's coast and a safari
excursion. You stay at Severin Sea Lodge, while in Mombasa
and Severin Safari Camp on your safari excursion. At Mombasa,
you will take a half-day tour to discover the history and
culture of this ancient town. This package offers a very good

Program:
Day 1: Nairobi
On arrival, meet and assist at Moi International Airport,
Mombasa. Thereafter you will be transferred to Severin Sea
Lodge. Severin Sea Lodge is located 30 km away from Moi International
Airport at Mombasa's exotic palm fringed North Coast. The
hotel is set amongst lush tropical gardens. This holiday paradise
is only 20 minutes from the bustling town and harbour of Mombasa.
Accommodation is in 100 uniquely styled makuti
thatched 'Karibu' class rondavels. All rooms have air conditioning
and additional roof ventilation, mosquito nets, bathroom with
shower and a balcony. Comfort class rooms feature handmade
Lamu style furniture, satellite television, telephone, mini-bar,
fruit baskets, hairdryers, in room safe and data ports. Unique
to Severin Sea Lodge is the Imani Dhow restaurant that is
berthed on an old Arabian sailing dhow and serves local delights
as well as international cuisine. Other facilities include
round bars, swimming pool, barracuda diving school, tennis
courts, guest laundry service.

Day 2: Tsavo West National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tsavo West National Park to arrive
in time for lunch. At 1530 hrs, you proceed for an afternoon
game drive within the park.
At Tsavo West you see elephants, crocodiles,
vervet monkeys, antelope, baboons, giraffes, hippos and lions.
Some of these lions are undoubtedly descendants of the infamous
man-eaters of Tsavo. The park is a marvel in terms of geo-physical
character and plant diversity. Mzima Springs, the source of
Mombasa's water, is located here. These springs are recharged
daily with hundreds of millions of litres of crystal clear
water by underground streams emanating from Chyulu Hills.
At Mzima, all sorts of animals gather for a drink particularly
in the dry season. You may also be able to view hippo and
crocodiles from the underwater glass tank.

Day 3: Tsavo West / Mombasa
After breakfast, check out and enjoy a game drive on your
way back to Mombasa.

Day 4: Mombasa
After breakfast you proceed on a half-day city tour of Mombasa.
On the tour you will visit the Old Town and see Fort Jesus,
constructed by the Portuguese in 1593 and Kilindini Old Port,
where you see some dhows. You also go to the Akamba Handicraft
market, where artists carve various crafts as you watch. You
will also pass by Marikit market and an Indian Temple.
After tour spend the rest of the afternoon
at leisure at the hotel.

Day 5: Mombasa
You spend the whole day at leisure at the hotel. You can enjoy
the beach or take an excursion to sample any of the marine
activities popular here- water skiing, wind surfing, scuba
diving, goggling and deep-sea fishing.

Day 6: Mombasa / Exit
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Moi International
Airport for your flight back home.
