Tour Summary:
This 8 nights/9 days safari is fast-paced and exhilarating
- it combines Zambia and Botswana. It starts off at
the Victoria Falls where you get to see the falls from
every angle. Activities such as helicopter flights or
balloon trips over the falls, a cruise on the Zambezi
River and elephant back safaris in the African bush
are available. You then drive to Chobe to meet with
the 45,000 of elephants that gather at the Chobe River.
Next stop - Okavango Delta, where you are assured of
seeing the "big five" on your game drives.
Finish off at Eagle Island camp, a treasure chest of
game and aquatic birds. Here, you will enjoy nature
walks, mokoro (canoe) trips and experience the sun setting
over the delta.
Program:
Day 1: ARRIVE VICTORIA FALLS/ LIVINGSTONE
Upon arrival at Victoria Falls Airport (Zimbabwe) or
Livingstone Airport (Zambia), you will be met by our
representative and transferred to your hotel. The rest
of the day is at leisure for you to explore this exciting
area. You could also take an optional helicopter flight
of angels or balloon trip over the falls. This afternoon,
enjoy a sundowner cruise on the Zambezi River.

Day 2: VICTORIA FALLS/ LIVINGSTONE
Breakfast at the hotel. Experience the tour of the mighty
Victoria Falls and a visit to the local craft market,
which depicts traditional Africa lifestyle. This afternoon
you will be taken on an Elephant Back Safaris in the
African bush!

Day 3: DEPART VICTORIA FALLS/ CHOBE
NATIONAL PARK
Check out of your hotel. Drive to Chobe National Park
(2 hours), famous for its huge herds of elephant. Check
into your luxury lodge and enjoy lunch with stunning
views of the Chobe River. In the afternoon you will
be taken on a boat safari on the Chobe River before
returning to the lodge for dinner.

Day 4: CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
Morning an afternoon game drive activities brings the
wildlife into close focus. Herds of elephants and buffalos
gather by the riverbanks and are best seen from your
safari vehicle. The lodge offers a number of activities
including swimming, fishing, bird watching and game-drives.

Day 5: CHOBE/ OKAVANGO DELTA
This morning enjoy your last game activity in the Chobe
National Park before checking out and transfer to Kasane
Airport for your flight into the hear of the Okavango
Delta. On arrival you will be transferred to the lodge
for your two nights stay on a full board basis including
all game viewing activities.
Khwai River Lodge is located at Moremi,
which is part of the Okavango's complex delta system.
Standing on the banks of the Khwai River, this beautiful
lodge offers private decks with commanding views of
the flood plain on which elephant, hippo and vast varieties
of birds can be easily observed, while night drives
will reveal a variety of nocturnal creatures hunting
and foraging for food.

Day 6: OKAVANGO DELTA
Spend a full day in the Delta exploring the channels
of the Okavango Delta and searching for the elusive
"Big Five". You can see plenty of game from
your deck beside the swimming pool shaded by tall trees,
or on the viewing platform overlooking the lagoon.
Overnight at Khwai River Lodge
Day 7& 8: OKAVANGO DELTA
After your mornings game viewing activity you will be
transferred to the airstrip. You will be collected for
your flight transfer to Eagle (Xaxaba) Island. On arrival
you will be met and transferred to Eagle Island Camp
for your two nights stay on a full board basis including
all game viewing activities.
Eagle Island Camp is a luxurious camp
and the perfect base from which explorers view a treasure
chest of game and aquatic birds. Surrounded by magnificent
landscapes, this premier wildlife site is a haven for
every variety of bird with an appetite for fish, while
the camp itself is the ideal spot from which to watch
the sun set over the Delta. Game-viewing activities
consist of nature walks and mokoro (canoe) trips.

Day 9: OKAVANGO DELTA/ MAUN/ JOHANNESBURG
Today bid farewell to the amazing Okavango Delta. Drive
to the airstrip for your charter flight to Maun, to
connect onto Johannesburg and flight back home.
