Tortilis Camp sits nestled in a verdant acacia grove at the foot of the majestic, snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. Built with a sensitive eye to its surrounding environment, this award-winning, tourism’s lodge lies just outside the Amboseli National Park -Kenya’s ultimate elephant country.

This charming, rustic tented camp, shaded by a natural forest of Acacia Tortilis thorn trees is a magical escape from the hustle and bustle of life in the fast lane. Its tents are furnished with focus on rustic simplicity, unobtrusive design and attention to comfort without compromising the ecosystem.

Game watching and Birding, coupled with the seemingly endless landscapes gives Tortilis the edge of an excellent place to be all year round!
The amazing camp is located only 4 hrs drive from Nairobi and 2 hrs from Mombasa.

Park/Reserve gate opens at 0600am and closes at 0600pm

CHECK IN TIME / CHECK OUT TIME

Check in time at hotels is 1100hrs.
Early check in will be charged at extra night.
Late arrivals should be advised in advance to avoid auto cancellation of the reservation.
In case check in is delayed than the expected arrival date, the delay will be treated as no show.

Check out time is at 1000hrs.
Day room use can be arranged at extra fee and is applicable from 1000hrs to 1800hrs.
Room use after 1800hrs will be charged at full night rate.
