What Our Past Clients Are Saying: "I will tell all my friends and family about your company. I was initially a little worried about dealing with a travel agency directly in Africa, but now I know that Africa Point is very professional and a reputable company. This trip was for my husband's 50th birthday, and we had a trip of a lifetime, thanks to Africa Point."

Eco tourism
In 2004 the Ol Pejeta Reserve was purchased by Fauna and Flora International, a UK based conservation organization. The Sweetwaters game reserve has now be extended to encompass the entire ranching area to form the “Ol Pejeta Conservancy”, approximately 90,000 acres in size. This has created the largest sanctuary in East Africa for the endangered Black Rhino. The aim of the Conservancy is to generate profits from wildlife tourism for reinvesting into community development in the local area.
Porini Camp was selected as one of the Camps to help in accomplishing these goals.
The camp is run and maintained with the conservation of the environment at the forefront, and has a written environmental policy in regards to water, land, energy, solid waste and sewage which is adhered to by the camp management. The numbers of tourist visitors are being limited to retain the wild and unspoilt nature of the area and to minimize the impact on the environment.
