Mbuzi Mawe is Swahili for Klipspringer, a perfect description for this camp which nestles among 3 million year old granite towers that this animal so favors. The camp lies North East of Serengeti, near Lobo, about 45 kms from Central Serengeti, 390kms (8-10 hours drive) from Arusha on dry weather road , 60 minutes flight from Arusha Airport to Seronera Airstrip and a further 90 minutes drive to the camp. |

Mbuzi Mawe consnsists of 16 superbly luxurious tents each with ceiling fans, 2 queen beds, mosquito nets and hair dryers and are accessible for the disabled. A bar and boutique are fashioned from rope-lashed hardwoods to the rear of the lounge a and beyond them a rock-hewn stairway leads to a classically styled dining tent with views over the sun-blazed plains.

Check in time at hotels is 1100hrs.
Early check in will be charged at extra night.
Late arrivals should be advised in advance to avoid auto cancellation of the reservation.
In case check in is delayed than the expected arrival date, the delay will be treated as no show.
Check out time is at 1000hrs.
Day room use can be arranged at extra fee and is applicable from 1000hrs to 1800hrs.
Room use after 1800hrs will be charged at full night rate. |
