Loisaba Wilderness is a private game ranch in northern Kenya on the edge of the Laikipia Plateau, which borders Kenya’s Northern Frontier District.
A true wilderness of remote beauty, the ranch offers total privacy and exclusivity, with an abundance of wildlife. It is luxurious, yet in harmony with its surroundings; full of adventure, yet an oasis of calm.
Just 70 kilometers north of Mount Kenya, this wilderness area has 5 (five) superb accommodations, each with its own unique qualities.
Accommodation:
Loisaba Lodge, the main accommodation at the ranch, is set on the escarpment facing southwards with superb views of Mt. Kenya.
● With 7 remarkable guest-rooms, each room has its own private deck overlooking the views of Laikipia.
● The lodge also has a swimming pool, tennis court, spa and massage room.
Kiboko Star Beds are 20 minutes drive from the main lodge and overlook a waterhole where game viewing is brilliant.
Koija Star Beds are 30 minutes drive from Loisaba lodge and overlook the Ewaso Nyiro River.
● The homemade ’Mukokoteni’ (Cart) beds can either be wheeled onto the open deck for a night under the stars, or left under the shelter of the roof.
Loisaba Cottage is approximately 9kms from the main lodge. A truly exclusive, self-contained private cottage built on the edge of the escarpment in beautifully landscaped gardens.
Loisaba House is a breathtaking, private house with cliff-top infinity pool, built on the edge of the escarpment entirely from local stone and thatch.
