Governors’ Private Camp is keen to offer the best to those who want an exclusive taste of the Governors’ experience.
Personal attention is the hallmark of every stay here; the manager is also your host and is at hand to see to all your desires and answer all your questions. The camp can only be booked by one family, group or party at a time, so it’s yours to enjoy, as the name suggests, in private.
Located in the world famous Masai Mara Game Reserve, the camp is set in a unique spot where animals come to drink and splash, as hippos laze in the shallows.
The camp can be easily accessed by road, 320 km southwest from Nairobi, but best by light aircraft landing at the Musiara Airstrip.

Park/Reserve gate opens at 0600am and closes at 0600pm
CHECK IN TIME / CHECK OUT TIME
Check in time at hotels is 1100hrs.
Early check in will be charged at extra night.
Late arrivals should be advised in advance to avoid auto cancellation of the reservation.
In case check in is delayed than the expected arrival date, the delay will be treated as no show.
Check out time is at 1000hrs.
Day room use can be arranged at extra fee and is applicable from 1000hrs to 1800hrs.
Room use after 1800hrs will be charged at full night rate.
