Film Safaris Camp is hidden in a grove of natural forest on the bends of the Ntiakitiak River that cuts through the Olare Orok Conservancy, an exclusive Maasai owned conservation area on the northern boundary of the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Forty five thousand acres of privacy at the heart of Kenya?s annual wildebeest migration and a vital dry season resource for a diversity of wildlife ensures great game viewing throughout the year. Film Safaris is helping pioneer a new and successful conservation partnership with the Maasai landowners, which benefit conservation, wildlife and the local communities.
The camp is hosted by Sean Hartley, an established photographer. All share a keen desire to impart their considerable knowledge and passion for the wild to anyone eager to listen, learn and watch with them.
Accommodation
===========
Six comfortable tents on platforms under the trees overlooking the vast African plains and the Ntiakitiak River and a similar guides tent.
All the tents can be configured for double or twin occupancy, (triples are a squeeze!) and have en-suite bathrooms with flush lavatories and full showers.
Water from the camp well is treated through a UV treatment plant, in addition, mineral water is available at all times.
240 volts in each tent with 24 hour power via the camp?s generator and inverter system. Hair dryers are not allowed.
Broadband internet access is available through a Wi-fi network throughout the camp. |

CANCELLATION POLICY
Reservations that are canceled, reduced in length of stay or reduced in numbers are subject to cancellation and no show fees.

Park/Reserve gate opens at 0600am and closes at 0600pm
CHECK IN TIME / CHECK OUT TIME
Check in time at hotels is 1100hrs.
Early check in will be charged at extra night.
Late arrivals should be advised in advance to avoid auto cancellation of the reservation.
In case check in is delayed than the expected arrival date, the delay will be treated as no show.
Check out time is at 1000hrs.
Day room use can be arranged at extra fee and is applicable from 1000hrs to 1800hrs.
Room use after 1800hrs will be charged at full night rate. |
