The Villa Punda Milia is an ideal location for anyone seeking a good value relaxing sunshine beach holiday at an exotic location, away from the regimentation and bustle of a hotel. Although secluded, it is especially good value for families or groups of friends out for a good time in the laid back and relaxing coastal setting. The villa is spacious and well ventilated
Villa Punda Milia is located 5 minutes walk - less than 200m from Diani Beach and built in African style with a Makuti roof (palm tree leaves) with all European luxury. Therefore it does not get so unbearably hot.
Downstairs are two separate ensuite bedrooms with white linen bedsheets, a very modern bathroom with toilet and a kitchen. The kitchen offers a Cooker, Oven,Fridge,Freezer,Kettle,Iron,Cutleryand Glassware. A chef can also be contracted at reasonable rate for those who wish to have this service. The dining area is outside - under the covered spacious terrace, overlooking the private swimming pool.
Remarks:
Upstairs is a very big open space with sofas and another double bed. An outside balcony is also found upstairs, ideal to relax and watch the sun rise and set. All the beds are equipped with mosquitonets.
The villa is surrounded by a very fragrant tropical garden with several trees and flowers. The swimming pool is more or less in the middle of the garden, with a very agreeable temperature at around 30 degrees.For the guests´ comfort there are two daytime employees: a house attendant who will do all the cleaning and the breakfast preparation and a swimming pool attendant and gardener.
Please note that, this is a very safe environment, however, a guard as well as an alarm system are at your disposal when any issue arises.
Surroundings of the villa
There are various great restaurants, bars, close proximity from the villa.Most of them are a walking distance. The next bigger shops are about 3 –4 km far away which means about 5 minutes by car. Also available are banks, credit cards are accepted in most restaurants and shops. In Diani Beach there are many water sports activities that you can indulge, including and not limited to diving ,Surfing,sailing, snorkeling, swimming etc. There is an option of taking two different flights from Nairobi one that will take you right at the Diani beach or one at Mombasa town , here you need to take a taxi , which is one hour drive to Diani. The nearest National Park is Shimba Hills where you can see elephants and lots of other wildlife. This also takes about 1 hour to get there, further south are Wasini Island for dolphin watching and Wazaro Beach, one of the most beautiful places on the coast.
