Mwembe, is Kiswahili for mango tree, which describes this RCI affiliated Resort with teh title of “Gold Crown” (only 200 of them qualify for this title).
RCI is an organization that associates more than 3500 Resorts world wide
The Resort is located in the North Coast, 126 km away from Mombasa airport and only 7 km from Malindi airport. Mwembe is just a 1km away from the Town centre off the Malindi – Lamu Road.
The Resort nestles in the tranquility of tropical gardens comprising of 26 self catering suites (maximum accommodation capacity – 128 pax) with air conditioning and satellite TV.
Within the premises operates “Lorenzo’s Restaurant” – a Restaurant that for many people, is the best in Malindi, where professionalism and competence come together in churning out delicious plates of Italian and international cuisine.
The Snack Bar is open from 06:00 hrs till 22.00 hrs. It is situated in a verandah opposite a magnificent swimming pool with 3 level depths, with waterfalls and a big area for the lovers of sun fan. A gym with sauna and massage parlor, a tennis court with floodlight, all is in this scenario where “Mwembe” is operating.
