Terms:
FACTORS THAT NEGATE COVER
- Gross or criminal negligence.
- No other vehicle involved in the collision unless exceptional circumstances apply.
- Unauthorised drivers, i.e. names of additional drivers are not listed on the Rental Agreement.
- Not obtaining authorisation from Europcar to extend the rental.
- Not reporting damage to Europcar immediately.
- Not adhering to traffic, road and driving rules and regulations.
- Unsuitable driving or road conditions.
- Driving under the influence of alcohol or any illegal substances.
- Not being able to produce keys in case of theft unless exceptional circumstances apply.
- Not reporting exact details of the last known location of the vehicle prior to theft.
- Unauthorised cross border rentals.
- Not reporting the loss to Europcar within 6 hours.
- Repairs to the Europcar vehicle without written authorisation.
THIRD PARTY MOTOR COVER
Third party liability cover is provided.
Rental Period
The daily rates are calculated strictly in cycles of 24 hours, from time of pick up to time of drop off. The renter will be billed directly for additional rental days at extension rates, should the vehicle be returned late.
Remarks:
Rates shown are applicable for period of hire of 1-6 days. Rates for longer hire periods are available on request.
The insurance cover is a Standard Cover Unlimited km
