The
Africa Point Travel Club was officially launched on Wednesday 9th July
2008 by Dr. Achieng Ongong’a, Managing Director of Kenya Tourist Board.
In essence, the Travel Club was established to promote domestic tourism in Kenya and East Africa in general.
For a long time Kenyan (and East African) residents have complained
that they pay considerably more than foreign tourists for their
holidays in Kenya. Africa Point has established a Travel Club by
partnering with several hotels, lodges, resorts and cottages to make it
possible for East Africans to enjoy better rates.
Joining the membership is free and is by simply registering on the space provided below so you can continue receiving our specials in your inbox.
Our growing list of partners include Serena Hotels, Sarova Hotels,
Severin Sea Lodge, Heritage Hotels, Sun n Sand, Drift Wood Beach Club,
Aberdare Hotels and several cottages around the country. We are also in
the process of partnering with hotels in Tanzania and Uganda so that as
a Travel Club member you continue to enjoy good deals all year round.
As a Travel Club member
- You will enjoy discounted rates at our partner hotels lodges and resorts as long as you are an East African resident.
- The Travel Club specifically caters for group weekend breaks, group get aways especially for chamaa getaways
- We will offer you tailor-made vacations to suit your interests and preferences
- As a member you are allowed to make easy part payments so long as you are fully paid up before travel.
- You also get an opportunity to take part in the “Annual Holiday Special Give Away”
- By referring new members to the travel club and getting them to travel as part of a group, registered members stand to travel for free.
The more you refer the higher the chances of traveling for free so long
as you are traveling on the same dates and destination.
