DRIVING REQUIREMENT
A valid national or international driver’s licence is required. Visitors may use their domestic licences for up to 90 days; thereafter, a local licence MUST be obtained from the Seychelles Licensing Authority.

DRIVING REGULATIONS
In Seychelles, driving is on the left. The speed limit is generally 40 km/hr (25 miles/hr) within INHABITED areas and 65 km/hr (40 miles/hr) on the outskirts.

CAR HIRE REGULATIONS
On renting a car any part of the day will count as FULL Day.

All cars should be returned at 0800 hrs regardless of the time the vehicle was taken the previous day.

Remarks:

RATES

Optional Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) of Euro 10 per vehicle is payable direct at the local office representative.

Where the hirer has NOT paid the CDW, he/ she will be responsible or all damages.

Where the hirer has paid the CDW, he/ she will be liable to an excess of Euro 1200 respectively, based on the rate above.

This is applicable in the event of an accident or damage to the vehicle and if the client is at fault, but DOES NOT include negligence on the part of the client, which if decided by a court of Seychelles to be a factor in an accident may result in the client being held fully responsible for the damages.
